At the Institute for Operations Research and Computational Finance, Dr. Alexandru Rif is actively involved in the HSG Trading Room project, as well as various projects within the Swiss Asset Management Industry. His main research interests are within the fields of security valuation and trading, with a special focus on equity valuation tools.
Alexandru obtained his doctoral degree in finance from the University of St.Gallen in September 2020. He successfully completed the Master in Banking and Finance program at the University of St.Gallen in 2014 and holds a Bachelor`s Degree in Economics from Bocconi University and a Bachelor`s Degree in Business Administration from CEU Business School since 2012.
Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed work placements at Goldman Sachs and Roland Berger.
