Gasversorger und Industrie nehmen die Herausforderung an, sich in absehbarer Zeit vom fossilen Erdgas zu verabschieden. Der Weg dieser Transformation ist steinig und noch nicht eindeutig vorgezeichnet. Umso wichtiger ist es, unterwegs den Blick für das grosse Ganze nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren.
Unsere diesjährige Veranstaltung widmet sich den unterschiedlichen Wegen zur Defossilisierung der Gaswirtschaft und zeigt Konsequenzen für den Umbau der Infrastruktur auf. Daneben werden die für die Branche anstehenden regulatorischen Neuerungen (Gasversorgungsgesetz, Teilrevision Landesversorgungsgesetz) diskutiert und die Entwicklungen auf den Beschaffungsmärkten reflektiert.
Seit 2012 thematisiert die Gastagung der Universität St.Gallen zentralen Themenstellungen, mit denen sich Gasversorger, Industrie und Politik gleichermassen auseinandersetzen müssen. Fachexperten aus Akademia und Praxis zeigen im Rahmen von Referaten den aktuellen Stand der Diskussion auf, vertreten Meinungen und versuchen, Entwicklungen zu prognostizieren. Zusätzlich zu den Referaten besteht die Möglichkeit, sich aktiv an Diskussionen zu beteiligen und Fragen zu stellen.
