Compact seminar: General Decree - Innovations for Energy Suppliers

Compact seminar " General decree - Innovations for Energy Suppliers": Due to high demand, we are offering the compact seminar again on Wednesday, 14.08.2024.

With the vote scheduled for June 9, 2024, it will be up to the electorate to decide on the so-called general decree. In September 2023, after more than two years of consultation, the National Council and the Council of States resolved the final differences and passed the combined revision of the Energy and Electricity Supply Act.
Energy suppliers cannot afford to wait until after the vote to deal with legal innovations such as the introduction of local electricity communities or new efficiency tasks for electricity suppliers. With a planned entry into force on January 1, 2025, the time available for preparation is already extremely short.
With the help of this compact seminar, the University of St.Gallen wants to inform the industry about the legal changes at an early stage and discuss potential strategies for energy suppliers to anticipate the relevant changes. The 1-day boot camp is aimed at all those working in the energy sector who are directly or indirectly affected by the legal changes in their daily work - such as management, specialists and board members. At the same time, it offers graduates of the CAS-HSG EVU-Manager continuing education program the opportunity to refresh their knowledge in the field of energy law/regulation and to maintain their personal network with other alumni.
